Configuration

{{mon.appli.delai:5000}}
{{mon.appli.cible:http://localhost:{{env:PORT:8080}}/rest/service}}

Configuration

Last revised 23 September 2026 · Platform changelog

Two levels: the instance configuration describes a service; the configuration document describes an application installed on it.

Instance configuration

It is set from the Infrastructure console, through a wizard specific to each service type. It carries what belongs to the service: sizing, database, storage, engine settings.

A restart does not rewrite an instance's environment: applying the configuration is what does.

An application's configuration document

Every key read by a flow becomes an entry of the configuration document, editable at the “Configuration” step of the publication, without rebuilding.

In a flow, a key is written with its default value:

{{my.app.timeout:5000}}
{{my.app.target:http://localhost:{{env:PORT:8080}}/rest/service}}

A default value may itself contain a placeholder: that is how an address that depends on the environment is written without being frozen.

Secrets

A secret is written neither in a flow nor in the configuration document. It is provisioned as an environment variable of the instance, and the flow reads it through {{env:MY_VARIABLE}}.

Making a secret mandatory without supplying it stops the service from starting: both settings are made together.
